Samsung SSD mSATA 256 GB - SATA III 6Gb/s (Refurbished Version)
Description
The Samsung 256 GB mSATA SSD is a professional flash storage solution designed for IT fleets using ultra-thin chassis, mobile workstations (such as Dell Latitude, Lenovo ThinkPad) or embedded systems. This component is ideal for reviving machines where the original mechanical drive or cache module has failed, giving equipment a second life with drastically reduced boot times and application response times.
Developed with Samsung's expertise in memory controllers, this SSD uses the mSATA (Mini-SATA) interface based on the SATA III protocol. Although compact, it integrates advanced thermal management and error correction technologies, ensuring transfer stability even during sustained workloads. Its design with no moving parts provides increased resistance to shocks and vibrations, a major asset for mobile users in B2B environments.
This refurbished product has undergone a battery of rigorous tests including sector verification, NAND wear rate analysis and firmware updates where necessary. It represents an eco-friendly and cost-effective alternative for IT maintenance services wishing to maintain high performance levels while optimising repair costs.

Workshop Advice & Usage
Please note: During installation, do not confuse the mSATA slot with a Mini-PCIe slot (often used for Wi-Fi cards) or an M.2 slot. Although physically similar, the electrical protocols are incompatible. We recommend that technicians check the host machine's BIOS version to ensure optimal recognition of the 256 GB capacity. To preserve the lifespan of the refurbished NAND, avoid filling the drive beyond 90% of its capacity and prefer a clean OS installation (Clean Install) to benefit from active TRIM functions from the first boot.
