QIANLI Clone-DZ03 Face ID Tag-On Repair Flex – iPhone 12/12 Pro
Description
The QianLi Mega-Idea Face ID Tag-On repair flex for iPhone 12 and 12 Pro is a precision component designed for technicians specialising in smartphone micro-maintenance. It allows for the restoration of TrueDepth facial recognition functions following a Dot Projector failure. Unlike traditional IC replacement methods, this "Tag-On" solution allows original components to be preserved while bypassing system errors generated by iOS.
The technical operation relies on the interception and correction of I2C bus data. Manufactured on a high-quality FPC (Flexible Printed Circuit) substrate, this flex cable features increased thermal resistance and optimal flexibility to fit into the restricted space of the iPhone 12 chassis. It strictly requires the use of the QianLi Clone-DZ03 programmer for pairing encrypted data between the logic board and the biometric sensor.
The major advantage of this technology is the absence of micro-soldering on the Dot Matrix chip solder balls, thus drastically reducing the risk of thermal shock to sensitive optical components. The flex cable connects in parallel to the original flex, making the operation faster and safer for the B2B client base of repair workshops.

Workshop Advice & Usage
Before any installation, you must perform a "Read" of the original flex using the Clone-DZ03 interface to save the customer's unique data. When folding the flex for final integration, ensure you do not crease the tracks (avoid sharp folding angles) to prevent any loss of continuity. Warning: if the Face ID prism is cracked or if the infrared camera is damaged, this flex will not be able to restore the function, as it only acts on the logical and electrical part of the dot projector.
