Workshop & Usage Tips

Critical warning: This enclosure is absolutely not compatible with M.2 NVMe (PCIe) SSDs. Before insertion, check the SSD notch: if it only has a single notch on the right side (M-Key), it will not work. For optimal performance, use the original cable and connect it to a USB 3.0 port or higher (usually blue-colored). When using a brand-new SSD for the first time, remember to initialize it through your operating system’s disk management utility so it can be recognized by the file explorer. Finally, make sure to properly apply the included thermal pad (if provided) onto the SSD controller to maximize heat dissipation through the aluminum enclosure.
