Device Conditions

The devices offered come in several conditions, each reflecting the level of use and the interventions carried out:

• New: The device is new and benefits from the manufacturer's direct European warranty. It has never been used and is offered in official manufacturer packaging.
• Refurbished: The device has been audited by a partner. Non-functional parts have been replaced and the battery level is guaranteed. Depending on the partner, a warranty may be offered to the reseller. Data erasure has been performed before its sale.
• Functional: The device has been partially tested by our teams to identify parts with damage. The network or battery has not been tested and may require replacement before being resold by the refurbisher. No warranty is provided, except in case of a breakdown upon receipt. Data erasure has been performed before its sale. The refurbisher must inspect the device upon receipt and perform the necessary checks before any resale.
• For Repair: Failures or damages have been detected by our teams. Failures are specified on the product sheet. Data erasure has been performed before its sale. No warranty is provided, except in case of an undisclosed breakdown on the product description. Batteries are never tested and are therefore considered potentially in need of replacement.

Aesthetic Grades

Refurbished devices are classified into grades that reflect their aesthetic condition:

• Grade A: Device in very good condition, with minimal signs of wear. It may have slight scratches or scuffs, but remains in excellent cosmetic condition.
• Grade B: Device in good condition, showing more visible signs of use, such as scratches or more pronounced marks.
• Grade C: Device in fair condition, with obvious signs of wear, such as marked scratches or impacts.
• MIX ABC Grade: The customer may receive a device in a random grade among A, B, or C.

Commercial Reminder

Extract from the General Terms and Conditions of Sale (article 16):

• The range of functional devices (Pre-Owned) offered on UTOPYA is exclusively intended for refurbishers. Under no circumstances can they be resold directly to the end user.
• The refurbisher undertakes to comply with the legislation applicable in the country where the device will be put back into circulation. This includes comprehensive functionality tests to establish compliance with legal safety obligations and the expected use by the consumer.
• The return of a device is not allowed except in cases where it does not meet the aforementioned conditions.
