At the heart of the device is a precision digital sensor from the Swiss manufacturer Sensirion, ensuring metrological reliability of the data displayed on its LCD screen. The device communicates via the Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) protocol, which allows it to interface with the Xiaomi Home ecosystem. Once paired with a compatible Bluetooth gateway, it becomes a trigger for smart scenarios: for example, it can command the activation of a humidifier or air conditioner as soon as programmed thresholds are reached.

Workshop Advice & Usage

For optimal measurement accuracy, install the sensor approximately 1.5 m from the floor, away from direct heat sources (radiators) or draughts (windows, air conditioners). Note that the Bluetooth signal can be weakened by thick load-bearing walls; the use of a nearby Bluetooth gateway is recommended to ensure uninterrupted data transmission to the Xiaomi Cloud. When replacing the battery, be careful not to force the back cover to avoid damaging the ABS plastic fixing clips.
