Description

The complete KEM-490AAA Blu-Ray drive is a mechanical and optical set designed for Sony PlayStation 4 consoles equipped with this drive reference. It includes the KES-490A laser lens mounted on a carriage as well as the entire loading and reading mechanism. This complete unit is intended for repairs requiring the total replacement of the optical unit, including in case of mechanical failure of the disc loading system. It allows to restore the playback of PS4 games on disc, Blu-Ray movies, DVDs, and CDs. Note: the original console's electronic board (PCB) must be transferred to the new drive to ensure software compatibility.
