Device Conditions

The devices offered come in several conditions, each reflecting their level of use and the work carried out on them:

• New: The device is brand new and comes with the manufacturer's official European warranty. It has never been used and is supplied in the original manufacturer’s packaging.
• Refurbished: The device has been audited by a partner. Non-functional parts have been replaced, and the battery level is guaranteed. Depending on the partner, a warranty may be provided to the reseller. Data wiping has been completed prior to resale.
• Functional: The device has been partially tested by our teams to identify damaged components. Network and battery have not been tested and may require replacement before resale by the refurbisher. No warranty is provided, except in case of failure upon receipt. Data wiping has been completed prior to resale. The refurbisher must thoroughly inspect the device upon receipt and carry out all necessary checks before putting it back on the market.
• To Repair: Faults or damage have been identified by our teams. These issues are specified on the product sheet. Data wiping has been completed prior to resale. No warranty is provided, except in the case of an issue not mentioned in the product description. Batteries are never tested and should therefore be considered as potentially needing replacement.

Cosmetic Grades

Refurbished devices are classified according to grades that reflect their cosmetic condition:

• Grade A: Device in very good condition, with minimal signs of wear. It may have light scratches or scuffs but remains in excellent cosmetic condition.
• Grade B: Device in good condition, showing more noticeable signs of use such as scratches or marks.
• Grade C: Device in fair condition, with clear signs of wear such as visible scratches or impacts.
• Grade MIX ABC: The customer may receive a device in a random grade among A, B, or C.

Commercial Notice

Excerpt from the General Terms and Conditions of Sale (Article 16):

• The range of functional devices (Pre-Owned) offered on UTOPYA is intended exclusively for refurbishers. Under no circumstances may they be resold directly to end users.
• The refurbisher agrees to comply with the applicable legislation in the country where the device will be reintroduced to the market. This includes, in particular, performing full functionality tests to ensure compliance with legal safety requirements and with the use that a consumer can reasonably expect.
• Returns are not permitted unless the device does not comply with the conditions outlined above.
