Device Conditions

The devices offered come in several conditions, each reflecting the level of use and the interventions carried out:

• New: The device is brand new and benefits from the manufacturer's direct European warranty. It has never been used and is offered in official manufacturer packaging.
• Refurbished: The device has been audited by a partner. Non-functioning parts have been replaced, and the battery level is guaranteed. Depending on the partner, a warranty may be offered to the reseller. Data wiping has been performed before it is put on sale.
• Functional: The device has been partially tested by our teams to identify parts with damage. Network or battery performance has not been tested and may require replacement before resale by the refurbisher. No warranty is provided, except in case of failure upon receipt. Data wiping has been performed before it is put on sale. The refurbisher must inspect the device upon receipt and carry out all necessary checks before placing it back on the market.
• To Repair: Faults or damage have been identified by our teams. These issues are specified in the product sheet. Data wiping has been performed before it is put on sale. No warranty is provided, except in the case of an undisclosed fault. Batteries are never tested and are therefore considered as potentially needing replacement.

Cosmetic Grades

Refurbished devices are classified according to grades that reflect their cosmetic condition:

• Grade A: Device in very good condition, with minimal signs of wear. It may show slight scratches or scuffs but remains in excellent cosmetic condition.
• Grade B: Device in good condition, showing more visible signs of use such as scratches or more pronounced marks.
• Grade C: Device in fair condition, with clear signs of wear such as noticeable scratches or impacts.
• Grade MIX ABC: The customer may receive a device in a random grade among A, B, or C.

Commercial Reminder

Excerpt from the General Terms and Conditions of Sale (Article 16):

• The range of functional (Pre-Owned) devices offered on UTOPYA is intended exclusively for refurbishers. Under no circumstances may it be resold directly to the end user.
• The refurbisher agrees to comply with the applicable legislation in the country where the device will be put back into circulation. This includes full functionality testing to ensure compliance with legal safety requirements and the use that a consumer can legitimately expect.
• Returns are not permitted unless the device does not comply with the conditions stated above.
